RAW - Expecting the Expected

Myself, along with many fans of the WWE take to Twitter every Monday to voice our opinions on just how predictable Raw will be, how little we as fans feel we are getting from the program, and how SmackDown Live is out performing and out entertaining the flagship show.

Now I understand, it's a new era, creatively you would want to find a solid direction to push a new talent into a storyline with. But it might be fair to say that the young and brash talent on RAW is getting a bit slept on.

We've been buried in this ongoing fued with Kevin Owens, Chris Jericho, Seth Rollins, and Roman Reigns so much that we are to the point where Goldberg showing up on Raw for 3 minutes isn't enough to want to turn on the television. Now, I will give credit where it is due, the storyline based around the Universal and United States Championship had some good moments of much needed comic relief and they played a lot of interesting elements into it ! But as WWE has a tendency to do, the storyline got burnt out. And we're still buried into it!

To make matters worse last week we got absolutely no dose of womens wrestling, the thing we cried for years to get. I know adding the cruiserweights was exciting, and giving them their own show was smart, but to drown out the women's revolution with more cruiserweight action every Monday is where I have to draw the line.

The cruiserweights should've went back to SmackDown in my opinion, but I don't even want to get into that argument right now .. As far as the tag team division goes, we all have mixed feelings towards what it's doing. I want to leave them out this week and see how it continues to unfold.

What can we expect of Raw this week? I think we can expect it to be the same as last week. I hope they can prove me wrong, but they have yet to prove me wrong for a couple months now.

My only driving hope throughout these awful weekly episodes of Monday Night Raw is the idea of Finn Balor returning and bringing the raw action (excuse the pun) he brings into the ring every time. I believe Balor can, and more than likely will shake everything up when he returns and bring some fresh feeling of excitement to Raw.
